Checkers Custard Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo
1 Introduction:
CHECKERS AFRICA LIMITED’s Checkers Custard Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo promotion (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion”), will work as follows:

CHECKERS AFRICA LIMITED agents, distributors, sub distributors and open market and supermarket outlets selling Checkers Custard products will run the Promotion where customers can win instant prizes provided that they purchase either of Checkers Custard products:

Checkers Custard Vanilla 2kg;
1.1.2
Checkers Custard Vanilla 1kg;
1.1.3 Checkers Custard Banana 2kg;
1.1.4
Checkers Custard Banana 1kg;
1.1.5
Checkers Custard Milk 3-in-One 1.5kg;
1.1.6
Checkers Custard Milk 3-in-One 1kg; and
1.1.7
Checkers Custard Chocolate 4-in-One 1kg.
1.2
Customers, upon purchasing Checkers Custard Vanilla, Banana, Milk 3-in-1 and Chocolate 4-in-1; 2kg, 1.5 kg and 1kg jar products with the Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo badge/logo, stand a chance to win a prize by scratching a scratch card embedded under the seal of the jar cap. Whatever prize is stated, the entrant is eligible for it accordingly, and for airtime recharge, dialling the provided short code *474*PIN# where ‘PIN’ is unique code.

After the code is dialled, each attempt will reveal will display either a win of the under listed prizes on offer or an automatic network recharge on the phone use to dial the code, or a “Please Try Again” message in the case of no win;
2 Campaign Period:
The Promotion starts 1 July 2023 and will continue until 31 August 2023 (the “Promotional Period”) while prizes may be redeemed until September 30, 2023.
3 Who May Enter:
3.1
To be eligible to enter, the entrant must:
3.1.1
Buy any Checkers Custard Vanilla, Banana, Milk 3-in-1 and Chocolate 4-in-1; 2kg, 1.5 kg and 1kg jar products with the Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo badge/logo;
3.1.2
Have a valid Nigerian identity document;
3.1.3
Be 13 years or older; and
3.1.4
Purchase any Checkers Custard Vanilla, Banana, Milk 3-in-1 and Chocolate 4-in-1; 2kg, 1.5 kg and 1kg jar product with the Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo badge/logo;
3.2
Participation in this Promotion excludes employees, directors, members, partners, consultants and agents of, or any other person who, directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter/s or marketing service providers of this Promotion, (and the spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners of the people or entities listed above. This means:
3.2.1
The Promoter;
3.2.2
Supplier/s of goods and or services in terms of this Promotion; and
3.2.3
Promotional partners, printers, advertising and promotional agencies, professional advisors and point of sale staff employed by or contracted to, or providing goods or services of any kind, to all the people or entities listed above during the Promotional Period.
4 How to Enter:
During the Promotional Period, the entrants that meet all of the criteria referred to in clause 3 above must purchase one or more any Checkers Custard Vanilla, Banana, Milk 3-in-1 and Chocolate 4-in-1; 2kg, 1.5 kg and 1kg jar product with the Scratch ‘N’ Win Promo badge from distributors, sub distributors, open markets or supermarkets and will automatically qualify to receive a scratch card and stand a chance to win a prize as listed below.
5 The Prizes:

Entrants that fulfil the requirements stated in clause 3 and 4 above, can stand a chance to win as follows:

If you scratch a card and receive a ‘*474*PIN#’ message, you will receive any of the below airtime recharge on the phone line instantly:
5.1.3.1
N500 airtime recharge (MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile network); or
5.1.3.2
N200 airtime recharge (MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile network).
6 Redeeming Prizes: 6.1
Entrants will call the Scratch N’ Win Promo hotline/Customer Carline +234 903 204 9307 and give the serial number on each winning scratch card. After the Promoter has verified the serial number to be genuine, guideline on how to receive the prize will be given. In the case of airtime recharge, the prize is received immediately upon dialling the short code that will automatically credit the phone line with the corresponding airtime won, N500 or N200, on any of the networks: MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile.
7 General:
7.1
The Promoter, its respective directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage, including but not limited to physical harm or death, howsoever arising from or as a result of an entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the entrant’s redemption of any Prize in terms of this Promotion, or from any amendments to Prize details and/or the terms and conditions of this Promotion. All entrants (including the winner) hereby expressly indemnify the Promoter in this regard and shall hold it harmless from all and any claims arising from or as a result of the above reasons.
7.2
In so far as it is necessary, required by law or beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to vary the nature of the Promotion, the Prize, or these terms and conditions upon notice in this regard being published on www.CheckersAfrica.com or Checkers Custard social media account on FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and YouTube, or in another appropriate medium. In the event that the Prize is limited or varied in this manner, the Promoter shall replace the Prize with a prize of a similar economic value.
7.3
With regard to clause 6.2 above, any amended terms and conditions published in any media, or on the CHECKERS AFRICA LIMITED website www.CheckersAfrica.com or Checkers Custard social media account on FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and YouTube will form part of the terms and conditions of the Promotion, to which terms the entrants agree to be bound.
7.4
The Prize is not transferable and is not exchangeable for another prize or cash.
7.5
The decision of the Promoter in respect of disputes arising out of this Promotion shall be dealt with by the Promoter in terms of these terms and conditions. The decision of the Promoter in this regard shall be final.
7.6
Winners are only entitled to win 1 (one) Prize each.
7.7
The Promoter reserve the right to withhold the Prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide winner and reserves the right to call for such proof as it may deem necessary.
7.8
The Promoter shall request that winners consent in writing to their name, image and likeness being used and published by the Promoter in connection with this Promotion for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they are announced as winners. Winners may decline the use of their name, likeness and image by the Promoter.
7.9
By entering this Promotion entrants signify their consent to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. If a winner is under the age of 18 years (a “minor”), the winner’s guardian or parent will be required to assist the minor with all and any necessary documents or agreements in connection with being able to take up any of the Prize/s in this Promotion.
7.10
By entering the Promotion all entrants give their consent to receive various marketing and promotional material from the Promoter. Entrants will be provided with an opportunity to “Opt Out” of receiving such communications, which may be via the relevant medium that such marketing communication was received.
7.11
Winners agree that it is an express condition of the Promotion that in order to be eligible to redeem the Prize, the winner shall be required to sign the appropriate acknowledgement of receipt of the Prize, as well as an indemnity and/or waiver of liability as reflected in these terms.
